Tyler McElroy
Tyler McElroy was born in Corsicana,
Texas on June 25, 1990. He grew
up playing soccer, baseball, and
football. At age 15 he started
Wakeboarding on the competitive
level. By the time he was 17 he
was riding on the semi pro level.
Due to injuries he stopped his
career in Wakeboarding early.
He then decided to seek out his
childhood dream of acting. He
found acting coach Kim Terry based
in Houston, Texas. Under her coaching
he booked two feature films, 4 student films, a commercial,
a photo shoot, and signed with a local agent within seven months. He studied under Kim Terry for ten months when he received a scholarship to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City. At the conservatory he studied under Carol Castendeick, Rawliegh Moreland, and Marty Kieser. After his first year he booked a leading role on the Off Off Broadway production of "Dog Sees God". He is now currently studying at the conservatory. He has one year left.
